What can be repaired?
Our Guarantee covers:
Areas on a shoe that have become unglued (e.g. the toecap).
Threads / stitches that have come loose.
If you’re not sure if you’re covered by the Lifetime Repair Guarantee, just submit a repair form and our Customer Service team will assess your claim.
The Guarantee doesn’t cover major repairs, like resoling, or damage in the uppers or midsoles. If you need bigger repairs, we can share with you a list of cobblers who offer expert, certified and affordable repair services.
Do I need to take my shoes to the cobbler / shoe repair shop?
As part of our low-impact commitment, we’re asking everyone within 10km of their Vibram-certified cobbler to take their shoes there in person. This also speeds up the process, so you’ll get your repaired shoes back quicker.
If you live further than 10km, we’ll arrange an easy (and free) shipment with a courier service.
If there’s a reason why you can’t make it to your local cobbler (e.g. an accessibility issue) then let our Customer Service team know and we’ll work out a solution together.
In which countries is the Guarantee available?
So far the Guarantee applies in: France, Italy, Portugal and Spain.
